have all their cricut lite cartridges on clearance  $20.00
got Hoot 'n' Holler
no it wasn't on my list but got it anyway :)
now off to my craft table to make something with it be back later

Happy Birthday Challenge Winner

Sorry if this post is a little long......
Had a fabulous day yesterday
My older brother, his wife, stepdaughter and their friend
they came for the day at the races here in Saratoga
It was a perfect day we ate we laugh and lost some money
like we always do...
Then we met my sister, my niece and a friend at
Leon for pitchers of Margaritas
more laughing....it was a great day  
we were celebrating my birthday and my niece Haley
gave me this card she made it herself she is 12 and
very talented it was fabulous how she explained to me
how she made it.
which leads me to the second part of this post

Happy Birthday to Me


Normally I an not one to make a big deal about my birthday but today I am 55 an not that any girl likes to tell her age I can't tell you how happy I am about that. As of today I am eligible for retirement. Not that I can really afford too with my youngest daughter still in college but just know that is possible is a wonderful birthday gift...

so easy
started with kraft card stock
then a piece of  PTI dark chocolate
Next paper from DCWV
the bottom lace I used a fiskar punch
the corner piece is from Straight from the Nest cut at 1 inch
a little ribbon and a button from PTI with some some rustic button twine
added a little bit of stickles to this little angel's wings for a heavenly touch

Cut the mermaid at 3"
don't know about anyone else
but I had a horrible time lining up her hair!
Finally cut the locks of the base
Big fish cut at 2"

Thanks Everyone of helping me reach my goal

When I started this blog thought it would be a place for me

My Friend

So my agenda for tonight was
1. to make a card for my best friend at work
we have a ton of changes happening in my department
and everyone is under tremendous stress
but my friends team has it worse than most
so I wanted to give her a card to make her smile
2. to use my new Hello Kitty Cart that has been whispering my name all week
3.try to make a card that would fit at least one challenge
4.and do all of that with just a little time to spare
so here is what I came up with
